It's Small Talk 6 Saturday!!!

Small Talk Six Saturdays is a weekly Meme created by MomDot to engage conversations during the “slower” Blog Saturdays.Every week, those participating respond to a different topic. The response is done in 6; either 6 words, 6 paragraphs, photos etc…

Hummmm, today's topic is....6 things other people do that make me personally uncomfortable.

This could be interesting....
#1. Talk about other people in a negative way in front of me.
#2. Curse in front of me....especially the really bad words. You know what those words are right...
#3. Couples that do tooo much PDA. A smooch is ok, but come on, get a room already....
#4. When Hubby messes up the bed sheets. I like to keep them all nice and smooth. He likes a big mound of covers...Totally get on my nerves, this one. I should put it first.
#5. Whisper in a group of people. It's rude alright!
#6. When someone is rude to a sales clerk, and they are in front of me in line. I some how feel responsible for the whole thing....and it's not even my deal.
Wheeww. That was hard for me.

Today, I worked more in the garden. It was a beautiful day in Chicagoland. I promise I will post picture soon.

Here's something interesting. Hop on over to Lolli's blog at lollipop and pearls, she is doing this neat sentence thingy. Leave a one sentence comment and she is going to put all the comments together and write a story. My sentence wasn't very bright, but I did try. You should try it too, if you get a chance.
I hope everyone has a great Saturday. We are off to Niko's first baseball game of the season. He's never played before, so it's a really big deal.
In Christ, Renee

I know- I hate when they mess up the bed sheets.

And the sales clerk too- they're just trying to do their job.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, southern sister :) I too was uprooted from my small-town life in Florida at 22 (married a military man who is from a smaller town than I am), and we travelled the world the past 17 years. This summer we are going back to our small-town life - woo hoo (I hope).

I love your 6 list. I agree with #4; my husband likes to be totally wrapped up in the sheets, but then sometimes throws them off halfway through the night. Drives me nuts.

Good luck to the (new) baseball player!

I agree with number 6. I especially feel uncomfortable when the sale clerk is being so polite and the customer is yelling at them for something out of their control.

I love your vintage pictures! When my oldest daughter was pregnant with triplets, we did the nursery in a vintage theme. I am fairly close to Chicago. Next month we're coming to American Girl..... Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog. I never expected anyone to find it!

Thanks for the link to the story meme. I recently participated in a similar one where you had to leave 6 words about your feelings about spring. The resulting poem was amazingly good. I enjoyed visiting.

Potty mouths drive me nuts as well. They wonder why their kids curse.

Great list! Though you and I definitely couldn't share a bed... ;)

I COULD NOT agree more with 1, 3, 5, Have you ever noticed as well that the PDA couples are also the most painfully unattractive couples ever?

When #6 happens to me, I'm always extra nice to the sales clerk and then I tell them that I hope their day gets better when I leave.
