I'm Wondering, Is It Just Me or What?

I have a wonderful Husband. He makes me laugh, I enjoy hearing him laugh, and he has a thousand other qualities I love, but he aggravates me. And here's why, oh my goodness....I gather up his dirty clothes, sometimes off the floor, maybe he has a few in the hamper, off the bathroom floor. I put them in the washer, move them over to the dryer, or hang them to dry if they need that. I take them out of the dryers, fold them up, carry them into the bedroom, and place them neatly on the bed or even in a nice stack in the closet floor on his side. All that is required of him is to hang them up or put them away in a drawer.

Here is the aggravation. He doesn't put them up......What's up with that? So do I put them up too? Do I just leave them there, or have a argument about it. I'm telling you, sometimes he worse than the kids. I would love to have someone, totally do all that for me.

I have a wonderful Husband. He makes me laugh, I enjoy hearing him laugh, and he has a thousand other qualities I love, but he aggravates me. I'm just saying...............I guess this is marriage :-)

Stopping by from SITS to say hello!

I've been married 21 years now. Husbands just aren't bothered by the same things we are. I read some where that men process messes differently than women do; they truly don't "see" it. If he's not bothered by it, let him live out of the laundry basket.

You are not alone!! Not at all.

I know exactly how you feel, but I'm not sure what to tell you.

Sometimes, I ask my husband to please, please be considerate and remember how his oversight adds to my workload...

Sometimes, I bottle up my frustration and that's not good, because it eventually overflows and turns into an argument.

Let me know what works for you.:)

I think we all have those moments in marriage! Our first year of marriage my husband always dropped his clothes at his dies of the bed and then got up in the morning and there were his clothes still. I told him it made me feel like he was a sailor coming in for the night and just dropping his clothes! He laughed and said don't come over to my side of the bed then! Thankfully after 13 years we don’t have clothes on the floor by his side of the bed. But they did migrate to the bathroom floor or the chair in our room. Why does the laundry basket not seem like the most ideal to put clothes?
